The Forger is an Emmy, Hot Docs Audience and World Press Photo Award winning, Peabody Award-nominated, documentary short telling the story of Adolfo Kaminsky who, as a teenager during WWII, saved thousands of lives by forging passports to help children flee the Nazis. He spent his life helping others escape atrocities around the world. I was asked to produce and direct the live action element of the film and conduct the interview with Adolfo alongside NYT reporter Pamela Drukerman. Animation by Manual Cinema.
